Contracts between Pfizer and the U.S. government show that Pfizer is being paid $3.5 billion for its mRNA COVID vaccines that will go to low- and middle-income countries.

The juicy deal was signed July 31, 2021, with the intention of 200 million doses being delivered by December 31, 2021, and 300 million doses by June 30, 2022. Pfizer has already signed contracts with the government for $10 billion for vaccines going to U.S. residents.
